This episode of podmissum features John K. Werner ’88. John is the project innovator for the Camera Culture Group at MIT Media Lab. He is working on new imaging platforms, developing hardware and software technologies for augmenting human vision. John is also working on large scale online learning, bringing young people from around the world together to solve some of the most important problems through rapid prototyping and helping to foster an environment of entrepreneurship to take ideas into the real world. He is a founder of TEDxBeaconstreet.com, an All-American Triathlete, a Harvard Loeb Fellow, and one of the founding members of Citizen Schools.


John spoke at Trinity’s Upper School Community Time on 6 January 2014. We begin with Upper School Assistant Principal and Global Travel Coordinator Chance Sims, who introduces John.
